Creme de Menthe

• Sugar8 cups
• Water6 cups
• Grain alcohol1 pint
• Peppermint extract1 oz pure
• Food coloring1 tblsp green

Instructions

   Bring sugar and water to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.

   Cool.

   Add the remaining ingredients and stir.

   Cover and let ripen for 1 month.
